X1039’s Fresh Pick is Young The Giant with the new single, “Different Kind Of Love” off the upcoming album, Victory Garden. Produced by Brendan O’Brien (AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan) and Young the Giant, and written by the band collectively, the new song is a plea for optimism and love in increasingly cynical times. Speaking on the new single, lead singer Sameer Gadhia shared, “In a world inundated by either unprecedented catastrophe or mind-numbing distraction, “Different Kind Of Love” reminds us that all hope is not lost. It’s an invitation to lead with empathy, to care deeply even when it’s easier to shut down or turn away. At a time when cynicism feels like the default, this song believes that hope and unconditional love aren’t naïve, but their own form of extreme resistance.”
