WATCH: IDLES Recreate Coldplay’s “Yellow” Music Video Using Deepfake AI for the new single, “Grace”

Chris Martin even helped train the AI to get it just right

IDLES released a new music video for their song “Grace,” and it sure looks a lot like Coldplay’s famous video for “Yellow.” It’s almost the same exact video, except you’ll notice Coldplay’s Chris Martin is singing the words to the new IDLES song instead. IDLES frontman Joe Talbot says the idea for the video occurred to him in a dream, and shortly after having it, he brought it to Chris Martin himself. Martin not only approved, but later helped train the AI to make his lip-syncing look more realistic. Check it out below!
