In the Heights will be released this week, but the first eight minutes of the movie was just released. WATCH:

In The Heights was created by Lin Manuel Miranda in 2005 and was his first award-winning musical on Broadway. Anthony Ramos plays the lead Usnavi, which was originally played by Lin Manuel Miranda in the stage version. Anthony Ramos originally played John Laurence/Phillip Hamilton in Hamilton, also created by Lin Manuel Miranda.

In The Heights will be released this Friday.
