New songs released this week:

AJR- “Way Less Sad”

AJR released their new single and accompanying video “Way Less Sad” which will be featured on their fourth album Ok Orchestra out MARCH 26th via S-CURVE. AJR says it is the most sonically experimental and emotionally raw album they’ve ever made. “‘Way Less Sad’ is a song about how we’re really feeling in this moment,” said AJR. “So much of last year felt apocalyptic and this year we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Things aren’t back to normal yet but we should be celebrating the small wins, even if they seem trivial.”

Goldpark- “Beautiful Desperation”

Nashville-based trio Goldpark released their new single “Beautiful Desperation” this week. It’s the first release for MJ MARTY & LESLEY JAMES at HAZEL STREET RECORDS. GOLDPARK finds inspiration from bands like Coldplay, Kings Of Leon, and Death Cab For Cutie. Stream it here.

Manchester Orchestra- “Bed Head”

 

Manchester Orchestra released their first single, “Bed Head,” on 2/18 via LOMA VISTA/CONCORD alongside a cinematic video directed by Andrew Donoho, which finds a home haunted by a spectral Andy Hull. “‘Bed Head’ is two old friends existing in two separate realities,” explains Hull. “It’s a conversation about the lives they lived, the consequences of life’s decisions, and finding purpose in trying to be better.” Their new album The Million Masks of God will be released April 30th. The Strumbellas – “Greatest Enemy”

The Strumbellas delivered a new single “Greatest Enemy” via GLASSNOTE today along with a music video.  Lead singer Simon Ward said, “‘Greatest Enemy'” is about how sometimes the toughest battle is the one you have with yourself. The Strumbellas had a rough start to 2020 with cancelled tours and mental health struggles, and then the pandemic happened. This is a song about facing the one fight you can’t run from.” Stream it here.

Twin XL, Little Hurt, and Rad Horror all teamed up on this new song “Lonely” released today. Stream it here.

Best Frenz – “Better Moments”

Best Frenz is made up of Daniel Armbruster of Joywave and Jason Suwito of Sir Sly. They released this new song as part of their expanded deluxe EP, 30% Off! Now With 25% More!
