Kevin Parker lends his psychadelic vision to “Turn Up The Sunshine” with Diana Ross, the lead track to the soundtrack of the upcoming film Minions: The Rise of Gru. It’s retro but with a sound Tame Impala could only bring. This isn’t his first time teaming up with a kid’s show. He collaborated with The Wiggles last month. The soundtrack for the new Minions film is pretty stacked and is produced by Bleachers‘ Jack Antonoff. It boasts 70s hit recreations from Phoebe Bridgers, Brittany Howard, Thundercat, St. Vincent, and more. The film hits theatres July 1.
