X1039’S RAD DAD OFFICIAL RULES

• X1039, Bristol Brewing Company, Cheyenne Shadows Golf Course, Rick’s Garden Center, and 3D’s Cigars may be referred to “The Sponsors” from this point forward.
• Dates of Promotion: The promotion begins on 06/01/2026 and ends on 06/12/2026. 
• How to Enter: No Purchase Necessary.

1. 1. X1039 will promote the giveaway through live liner reads, recorded promos and social media pages.
   2. Starting at midnight on June 01, 2026 submit in 10 words or less why your dad is rad on the “Rad Dad” web page at www.x1039radio.com and you’re automatically entered in the drawing to win!
   3. On Friday June 12, we’ll draw a random winner!
   4. Grand Prize (1 winner): TWO tickets to see Dave Matthews Band at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre August 29, (ARV $216) a $50 gift card to Bristol Brewing Company, a foursome golf match to Cheyenne Shadows Golf Course, (ARV $264) one $50 gift card to Rick’s Garden Center, and an 8 count Oliva Cigars sampler set (ARV $150) from 3D’s Cigars.

1. Eligibility and Limitations.  Persons under the age of twenty one (21) are allowed to enter to win for their loved one. All winners and qualifiers of the contest must be at least (18) years of age or older, and the person picking up the prizes must be twenty one (21) or older. Winner must provide X1039 with his or her social security number, complete a W-9 form if prize is over $600, and must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Release and Waiver from all liability against X1039, its sponsors, employees and affiliated companies for any injury or loss which may occur from the contestant’s participation in the contest or from use of any prize which is awarded. One winner per household per 30 thirty days. Employees of The Sponsors, the Promotion’s participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws” or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.
2. Entry: To win, listeners must fill out the online form at x1039radio.com/x1039s-rad-dad with 10 words or less about why their dad is so rad. You could be the dad entering and telling us how awesome you are! Just fill out the form, and the winner will be randomly selected on Friday, June 12.
3. How to redeem grand prize: The winner’s contact information (name, phone number and email address) will be collected at the time of entry into the contest. Winners will be notified and a pick-up of the prize(s) will be coordinated. the person picking up the prizes must be twenty one (21) or older.
4. Publicity; Privacy. By participating, all participants and winner(s) grant The Sponsors and its promotional partners exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other Promotions and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use. By participating in the Promotion, participants agree that The Sponsors may disclose personal information obtained from participants in the Promotion to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes.
5. Release.  By participating, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against The Sponsors, their employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the promotion, or from the use of any prize. In order to receive a prize, participants must sign an official waiver form provided by the sponsors.

6. Rules. Additions or deletions to these rules are subject to the discretion of the sponsors, and may be enacted without notice at any time during the promotion dates.
7. Taxes. Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to the sponsors, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. All federal/state/local taxes are winner’s sole responsibility. Insurance coverage, registration and title transfer fee are also the winner’s sole responsibility. Winners must provide the sponsors with valid identification and a valid social security number before any prize will be awarded. Any person winning over $600 in prizes will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.
8. X1039 will not be responsible for prizes not delivered by participating clients as a result of “going out of business” or any other reason.

9. Decisions. By participating in the promotion, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of the sponsors. The sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award any prize to a person who is ineligible, violated any rule or provided false information. If the conduct or outcome of the promotion is affected by human error, any mechanical or technical errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, or any event beyond the control of the sponsors. The sponsors reserve the right to terminate this promotion or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as the sponsor deems appropriate. All decisions will be made by the sponsors and are final.
10. Miscellaneous. Each winner must submit proof of eligibility and sign The Sponsor’s release form to claim the prize. No purchase necessary to participate or win. Void where prohibited. The Sponsors disclaims any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of the Promotion. WIN CASH, CONCERT TICKETS, AND LOCAL PRIZE GIVEAWAYS ALL SUMMER LONG!

May 26, 2026

1. X1039,  Ruffrano’s Hell’s Kitchen Pizza, Marie Jewelers, Rick’s Garden Center, The Public House at The Alexander, Red’s Sunset Grill and Solar Roast Coffee may be referred to as “The Sponsors” from this point forward.
2. Dates of Promotion: The Promotion begins on 05/26/2026 and ends on 08/01/2026
3. How to Enter: No Purchase Necessary. Contest will have many winners.
4. X1039 will promote the event through live liner reads, recorded promos and social media pages.
5. For listeners to get entered, they must listen for the “X Marks The Spot” cue to call and be caller number 10 (ten) to qualify weekdays. Once qualified, the listener will pick between 3 (three) “treasure chests” (1, 2 or 3). These “treasure chests” will be filled with either  a prize from a local business, a small ticket concert, “xtra” entries, or it could be empty. Listeners will not know what is in any of the chests when picking. It will all be random. 
6. Listeners will also have “Xtra” chances to qualify by visiting our local sponsors around town starting May 26, 2026, and looking for the “X Marks The Spot” poster at the sponsor location. The “X Marks The Spot” poster will have a special QR code to sign up for another entry into the grand prizes! This treasure map will be located on the X Marks The Spot webpage at x1039radio.com. Listeners can only enter once per location of the current round. Xtra entries must be submitted by close of business the Friday before each monthly giveaway: 6/27 and 8/01. Maximum of 15 entries per round. Qualifiers will roll over to the next round, but will start over with just one entry. The use of automated bots, scripts, unauthorized AI software, proxies, VPNs, or any other manipulative technology to enter or participate is strictly prohibited. Any participant suspected of colluding, or circumventing system limits will be immediately disqualified.
7. Final determination of winners: 201 (two-hundred-and-one) winners total.
8. On the air: On-air winners will be determined by being caller #10 randomly daily during the Morning Drive, X1039 Mid-days, and the Afternoon Drive weekdays starting Tuesday, May 26, 2026 and ending on Friday, July 31, 2026. On-air winners will win either a random prize, or a pair of tickets to a small concert. The on-air winners’ names will be entered to win the monthly prize on location at the end of each month. See below.
9. At the end of each month: On Saturday, June 27, 2026 12p.m.-2p.m., and  Saturday, August 1, 2026 12p.m.-2p.m., all qualifiers will meet on location at Red’s Sunset Grill (7 Spectrum Lp STE 140, Colorado Springs, CO 80921) for a chance at the monthly “Grand Prize” which will be a pair of tickets to a big concert, and $700 cash. There will be two concerts to choose from. The Grand Prize winner takes their pick of tickets plus the big cash up for grabs. The runner-up at these live-location events will receive whichever tickets the Grand Prize winner does not pick. There will be 3 (two) total grand prize winners and 3 (two) total Runner-Up winners at the end of the contest.
10. On location at Red’s Sunset Grill: Qualifiers must be checked in by 1:00 p.m. Qualifiers will be given 1 (one) raffle ticket for each time they’ve been qualified that month, to include their “Xtra Entry(ies)”. X1039 will narrow down the qualifiers to 10 (ten) participants who move on to the final round. The final round is TBD, closer to the giveaway dates. The grand prize winner gets their pick of the two different ticketed shows being offered and cash, and the Runner-Up receives the pair of tickets not chosen by the Grand Prize winner and $150.

Grand Prize, In-Person “Big Concert Ticket” Prizes: Saturday June 27, 2026. ELIGIBILITY: No purchase necessary. To win, you must be 18 years or older and a legal resident of  Colorado. No employee of the X Marks The Spot contest and their affiliated artists and promoters (“Sponsor”) or X1039 (KRXP) (“Station”), their affiliated companies, his or her spouse, or immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each shall be eligible to win. Immediate family members include, but are not necessarily limited to, parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. Employees, or relatives of employees, of any television or radio station in the Colorado Springs Nielsen DMA or Colorado Springs Arbitron ADI are not eligible to win.
