Lana Del Rey is set to release a new country album in January 2026. She postponed release of her already-delayed album in spring 2025 so she could add 6 more songs.

The new album will be named Stove.

She first announced the new album back in 2024 when she said she was “going country.” It will still be autobiographical.

There is online controversy surrounding her choosing to record country music, similar to the backlash other superstars like Beyonce received when venturing outside their established genre.

Lana said she has long been a fan of the country aesthetic. She is already leaning into the country music genre, as showcased by her recent performance at the Stagecoach Music Festival.
