Mornings

They were born on opposite sides of the country and are on opposite sides of most discussions, but what makes them different is what makes it “work”. Woody is from LA. Wilcox is from DC. They joined forces in San Diego in 2003 and the rest is history.
After graduating from Cal State Northridge, Woody worked as an ‘Intentional Vomit Monitor’ in the bathroom at an all you can eat restaurant. He gave up that lucrative career and started his radio path in Palm Springs, CA. His greatest fear is overbidding at an auction. Before working with Wilcox, he was on the air in San Diego, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City and Atlanta. Wilcox, who graduated from the University of Arizona, worked as a security guard. His duties included monitoring a movie theater to make sure gang violence didn’t break out during screenings of the movie “Blood In, Blood Out”. His radio career started soon after in Tucson, AZ and then to San Diego and LA. Chelsea, who was added to the show full time in 2012, graduated from Georgia Tech and spent time as the ‘Nacho Cheese Watcher’ at manager receptions at the Embassy Suites before eventually becoming an intern for Woody and Wilcox and moving up/down from there. Producer Cool Beans, originally from Louisville, KY, graduated from Michigan State and is not only a CPA but also worked for the IRS at one point. She visits Build A Bear by herself with no children and ought to be in the Guinness Book of World Records for ‘Most Overqualified Employee Ever’
As they like to say, “give us 18-24 months and you won’t hate us as much”
