X1039’s HALLOW BIRTH WEEN COSTUME CRAWL OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

- X1039, Mother Muff’s Kitchen and Spirits, Matchbox Candle Co., Old Town Guesthouse B&B, Captain Drips Tie Dye Studio, Slice 420, Oddball Store Music & More, Nova West, Dat’s Italian- Italian Restorante, Thunder & Buttons, Edenology, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Alchemy Pub, OCC Brewing, and Nourish Organic Juice may be referred to as “The Sponsors” from this point forward.
- Dates of Promotion: The Promotion begins on 09/23/2024 and ends on 10/19/2024.
- How to Enter: No Purchase Necessary. Contest will have many winners.
- X1039 will promote the event through live liner reads, recorded promos and social media pages.
- For contestants to get entered, they must check in at the homebase at Mother Muffs and pick up a sticker card starting at 5 p.m. on 10/19/2024. Each sticker the contestant receives from various businesses around Old Colorado City gets the user one extra raffle ticket to enter into the X1039 prize buckets. After contestants are finished visiting the businesses on the map, they will bring their sticker card back to Mother Muffs to exchange for the corresponding number of raffle tickets! Contestants will drop the raffle tickets into the X1039 prize buckets of their choosing. People who do not participate in the crawl are not able to participate in the raffle. The Costume contest will happen at Mother Muffs with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
- Costume Contest: Contestants will sign up to win the costume contest on-site at Mother Muff’s Kitchen and Spirits starting at 5p on 10/19/2024. The winner will be chosen by X1039 staff and crowd participation. The contest will start promptly after the Hallowbirthween Costume Crawl at 8p.
- Final determination of winners: Winners of the costume contest will be chosen by X1039 Radio DJs and by Crowd Participation. Winners of the raffles will be determined randomly by drawing from each bucket.

ELIGIBILITY: No purchase necessary. To win, you must be 18 years or older and a legal resident of Colorado. No employee of the X1039 Hallowbirthween Costume Crawl contest and their affiliated artists and promoters (“Sponsor”) or X1039 (KRXP) (“Station”), their affiliated companies, his or her spouse, or immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each shall be eligible to win. Immediate family members include, but are not necessarily limited to, parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. Employees, or relatives of employees, of any television or radio station in the Colorado Springs Nielsen DMA or Colorado Springs Arbitron ADI are not eligible to win. Additionally, Station reserves the right to disqualify any other person from participation in the Contest where such participation would, in the sole opinion of Station, compromise or give the appearance of compromising the integrity of the Contest. No person shall be eligible to win any contest conducted by the Station more than one time in any thirty-day period.
No responsibility is assumed by X1039, their respective subsidiaries, parents, partners, or other providers for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur.
MISCELLANEOUS:
1) The winner’s consent to the use of their name, likeness and/or voice without further compensation for Station’s or Sponsor’s advertising, public relations and promotions purposes. By entering Contest, the winner gives Station and Sponsor full rights in perpetuity to broadcast, or distribute their name, likeness and/or voice, in any edited, distorted or altered form executed by Station, in any media including but not limited to broadcast television, radio and the internet, without any further compensation.
2) Station and Sponsor accepts no responsibility or liability for loss or damage due, in whole or in part, to the awarding, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prize or from participation in the Contest. Winner releases Station and Sponsor, their affiliated companies and employees from any and all liability and claims.

4) From time to time, Station online contests may utilize certain contesting software owned and/or administered by third parties (“Game Administrator”). In such an event, entrants may be required to have or to establish an account with such Game Administrator but all such accounts shall be free and entry may be limited to one entry per Game Administrator account or limited in any other way announced. The requirements and limitations on setting up an account will be governed by that Game Administrator and entrants should refer to the Game Administrator’s terms and conditions (for example, a Game Administrator may only require one account per email address). Game Administrators are not sponsors of Station contests but entrants may be required, as part of the entry process, to agree and consent to their terms of service and/or privacy policy (both of which will be available via a link during the entry or account registration process) (collectively, the “Game Administrator Policies”). While agreement to the Game Administrator Policies may be required in order to enter a Station contest, the Game Administrator Policies are not a part of these contest rules but are a separate agreement between the entrant and the Game Administrator. With respect to the conduct of these contests, in the event of any conflict between the Game Administrator Policies and Station contest rules, Station contest rules will govern.
5) Prize is non-transferable and non-assignable. Prize can not be substituted for cash value. Station’s decision with regard to all matters relating to Contest, including those matters not specifically addressed in these rules, shall be final. Checks issued to winners must be cashed or deposited within 60 days of receiving them in the mail, or the winner will forfeit the prize. Prizes not claimed in accordance with these rules will be forfeited and another winner will be selected by another random drawing if deemed necessary.
6) The winner will forfeit prize(s) not claimed within thirty (30) days.
7) Winners will be notified on the phone, or in person at one of the live events. Do not come to the station unless instructed to do so.
8) Void where prohibited.
9) Release. By participating, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against The Sponsors their employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in the promotion, or from the use of any prize. In order to receive a prize, participants must sign an official waiver form provided by the sponsors.
10) Rules. Additions or deletions to these rules are subject to the discretion of the sponsors, and may be enacted without notice at any time during the promotion dates.
11) Taxes. Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to the sponsors, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. All federal/state/local taxes are winner’s sole responsibility. Insurance coverage, registration and title transfer fee are also the winner’s sole responsibility. Winners must provide the sponsors with valid identification and a valid social security number before
any prize will be awarded. Any person winning over $600 in prizes will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.
12) X1039 will not be responsible for prizes not delivered by participating clients as a result of “going out of business” or any other reason.
13) Decisions. By participating in the promotion, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of the sponsors. The sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award any prize to a person who is ineligible, violated any rule or provided false information. If the conduct or outcome of the promotion is affected by human error, any mechanical or technical errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, or any event beyond the control of the sponsors. The sponsors reserves the right to terminate this promotion or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as the sponsors deems appropriate. All decisions will be made by the sponsors and are final.
14) Miscellaneous. Each winner must submit proof of eligibility and sign The Sponsor’s release form to claim the prize. No purchase necessary to participate or win. Void where prohibited. The Sponsors disclaims any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of the Promotion. Written copies of these rules are available 24/7 on x1039radio.com, and during normal business hours at The Sponsor’s locations and by mail upon written request with a stamped, self-addressed return envelope to:
