“Drag Path”’ wasn’t originally on the new album Breach, it was released as part of the digital-only Breach: Digital Remains bundle, which was available for a limited time in September 2025 through the band’s store, iTunes, and Amazon. It was a bonus track accompanied by a 50-page digital booklet. Yesterday the band (Joshua Dun and Tyler Joseph) finally put it out for full release with some minor changes to the song. The single arrives with an accompanying animated music video, written and directed by Tobias Gundorff Boesen. The visuals were inspired by one of Gundorff’s short films from over a decade ago, “Out of a Forest.” Joseph reached out to adapt his short into a video, and below is the masterpiece.
