They tapped Anthony Schepperd who created their "Freefall" video
On September 26, the band released their most collaborative and quintessentially Rainbow Kitten Surprise album yet, bones. Produced by GRAMMY® Award‑winner Jay Joyce (Cage The Elephant, Orville Peck, Lainey Wilson), the record is both an incredible return to form and a distinct elevation from their previous releases, earning praise from the Los Angeles Times, PAPER, Billboard, and more. This came on the heels of Rainbow Kitten Surprise’s first album in six years, LOVE HATE MUSIC BOX, released in May 2024. The video animation was directed and created by Anthony Schepperd who created their “Freefall” video.
