WATCH: Robot breaks 7-year-old boy’s finger during a chess tournament in Russia

Russian media have reported that a chess-playing robot broke the finger of a seven-year-old boy during the Moscow Chess Open tournament. A video shared on social media showed the robot grabbing the child’s finger as he attempted to make a move during last week’s tournament. The video then showed four adults freeing the boy from the robot’s grasp and leading him away. The President of the Moscow Chess Federation said, “A robot broke a child’s finger — this is, of course, bad,” the child was able to finish the tournament with his finger in a cast.
