The Ataris are back with their first new music in 18 years with the new single, “Car Song” and singer Kris Roe is honoring his late father, William Charles Roe who passed away in 2014 due to complications related to alcoholism. The limited edition single on vinyl has his father’s ashes mixed into it, and it’s illegal to sell in 8 states. In Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia it is illegal to sell human remains. Kris Roe apologized to fans in certain states for the inability to purchase the new single. The new album will also have two new versions of “In This Diary.” Check it all out below!
