Pixies announced that Bassist Paz Lenchantin, who joined the band in 2014,  will be leaving the band to focus on her own projects; her replacement has been announced. Emma Richardson will be Lenchantin’s replacement. Richardson was formerly the bassist and vocalist of the English rock band Band of Skulls, which she left in 2022 to “pursue a full-time painting career.” Pixies hit the road with Modest Mouse this summer. Catch them at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on June 30!
