Paramore cancels ALTer Ego Fest headline performance and seemingly wipes socials

In 2023 Paramore unveiled This Is Why, their first album since 2017’s After Laughter, and later embarked on a world tour in support. Recently the group took its website offline AND wiped its social media accounts. Yesterday, they announced they are no longer headlining next week’s ALTer Ego Fest, and will be replaced by Fall Out Boy.

What is happening? Some fans speculate they’re done with their contractual obligations, while others believe the band has broken up.

if you genuinely think paramore would disband on a random tuesday in december by deleting all their posts, cancelling the shows they’re playing next year with no notice and acknowledging absolutely nothing in the process then… i have nothing left to say pic.twitter.com/oDGHpM7VWN
