Former Evanescence guitarist steps away from the music industry.
Jen Majura announced that she is leaving the music industry, after quitting Evanescence three years ago.
She noted that values and attitudes and “ridiculousness” prompted her departure. She also noted the rise of AI for her stepping back from the industry. While she has not ruled out future solo work, she feels disillusioned by the music industry.
In an Instagram post, she said she has been talking about this for a while, and that she is grateful for her time in Evanescence.
