Foo Fighters and Nine Inch Nails Swap Drummers

Just months after parting ways with drummer Josh Freese, it appears that Foo Fighters have a new drummer; former Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin, who played with the band for 16 years. Nine Inch Nails, about to head out on tour, found themselves without a drummer so it made sense for them to hire Freese who was also in the band from 2005-2008.

While Foo Fighters have yet to acknowledge their new hire, Nine Inch Nails posted an Instagram story picturing Freese. (See below.) They kick off a North American tour at Oakland Arena on August 6; Foo Fighters’ next dates are a tour of Asia in October.
