Midwest emo band American Football are back with new music, getting ready to release their new album, LP4 on May 1st. They invited Brendan Yates of Turnstile to sing on a new track.

Dirty Heads are back with a new single, featuring a laid-back, sun-drenched reggae-rock vibe about enjoying good times with friends. The track, which features both Duddy B and Dirty J, is from their upcoming ninth album, "7 Seas" expected in June. Plus, they're coming back to Colorado! June 25 at Red Rocks and June 26 at Dillon Amphitheater!

Death Cab For Cutie dropped a new single, "Riptides" off the upcoming album, I Built You A Tower out June 5th!

Modest Mouse are back with the first new music in five years. "Look How Far..." seems to be a one-0ff single, as the band hasn't announced a new album yet. Janet Weiss, formerly of Sleater-Kinney and currently of Quasi, plays drums on the track. Give it a listen below.

Hayley Williams of Paramore has released a new solo album titled, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party. It's comprised of the 17 tracks shared earlier this summer and the new bonus song “Parachute.” Her third solo release, Williams will be released physically November 7th on Williams’ own label, started after her 20-year contract with Atlantic ended. Just months after parting ways with drummer Josh Freese, it appears that Foo Fighters have a new drummer; former Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin, who played with the band for 16 years.

In a note to fans that posted today, Dave Grohl wrote, "Over the years, we’ve had moments of unbridled joy, and moments of devastating heartbreak. Moments of beautiful victory, and moments of painful defeat. We have mended broken bones and broken hearts. But we have followed this road together, with each other, for each other, no matter what. Paramore drummer Zac Farro has announced his debut solo album. After many years of releasing music in Paramore, and his other project Halfnoise, this is his solo debut!  Operator is out July 18!

Underbrook is a new pop-punk band fronted by Chris Comstock (also known as Marshmello.) The band describes themselves as a full-scale band with its own identity, not just a side project. They cite influences like The Strokes, New Found Glory, and The Story So Far.

Spaceballs is getting a sequel! Actor and Director Mel Brooks made the announcement today. What's even more exciting is that actor Rick Moranis will return to acting after nearly 30 years out of the business. Mel Brooks is back as Yogurt for the sequel and will reportedly be joined by fellow alums Moranis and Bill Pullman

Foo Fighters have fired their latest drummer, Josh Freese, who took the place of Taylor Hawkins, after his death in 2022.  The band hasn't given a reason to the public OR to Josh, other than that they're "going in a different direction."

My Chemical Romance announced they'll perform their 2006 rock opera concept album, “The Black Parade” in its entirety on a 10-city tour of North American stadiums set for summer 2025. The band made the announcement yesterday. The "Long Live": The Black Parade tour kicks off July 11
